The world's largest trade fair for transport technology, InnoTrans, broke several records. It occupied all exhibition halls, as well as the entire outdoor and track area of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, offering the largest exhibition space since InnoTrans was founded in 1996.
A special highlight was the official naming of the new MPV® VentuS® Typ DB GAF on the outdoor grounds. In the presence of the management board of DB Bahnbau Gruppe, the vehicle was named "MainGAF."In addition, Windhoff, in cooperation with DTec, presented the ScanTrain® from the rail technology sector—an innovative solution for the inspection and digitization of rail infrastructure.
Windhoff made a successful appearance at this year's InnoTrans in Berlin. On a 45-meter-long track section and with an indoor booth covering 256 square meters, the company showcased its latest products and innovations. The intensive exchange with existing and potential customers, who showed great interest in the products and solutions for the rail industry was overwhelming.
Windhoff was also pleased with the visit of Dr. Richard Lutz, CEO of Deutsche Bahn, to the outdoor stand. In discussions with our management and Mrs. Dr. Großmann, Dr. Richard Lutz was thoroughly informed about Windhoff and the application possibilities of the new track maintenance vehicle. He expressed great interest in the innovative solutions and their potential applications in the railway sector.
A large delegation from Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt (VGF) visited our booth to personally inspect their future rail grinding vehicle. The group showed great interest in the technical details and possible uses of the vehicle.
Windhoff looks forward with great optimism to the upcoming discussions and projects.
From September 22 to 25, 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology will open its doors once again
